‘Hitting My Stride’ is the third single from the new Gramsci album ‘Inheritance’.

It’s a song about dedication and passion. Inspiration can be poisoned when harnessed to narrow defnitions of success because itt is by its very nature, magical.

‘Inheritance’ the frst new music from Gramsci in 15 years. Mainstay Paul McLaney

has spent the intervening years studiously. Be it the classical folk stylings of ‘EDIN’, the ambient electronica of The Impending Adorations or the theatrical song settings of Shakespearean solililoquies, its all been about musical and personal growth.

All of the those musical threads are now woven into ‘Inheritance’.

The new album is the frst to feature veteran producer Greg Haver (Manic Street preachers, Catatonia) and the live line up is completed with multi instrumentalist Jol Mulholland (Gasoline Cowboy, Mulholland).

The video is compiled from 'Romance Sentimental,' a 1930 French flm directed by Grigori Aleksandrov and Sergei M. Eisenstein.
